PRETTY KITTY

Hey all!

So I was totally feeling a vintage/retro vibe while wearing this outfit. I don't know if it was the shorts, shoes or sunglasses but I felt like I was in another decade. This outfit was very comfy and casual for a trip to Burbank to visit Morphe.

If you have never heard of Morphe or never been there I suggest you look it up if you like makeup. Here's the link to Morphe. It's like a toy store but with makeup. Haha! Seriously, you won't come out with empty hands. It's more like you will come out with a big red bag and a hole in your your bank account. Well worth the drive, time and color/glitter swatches on your hand. I had a blast!

There are lots of little cute boutiques, shops and restaurants to stroll through after, so you can make it a whole day thing in Burbank. I bought a few little trinkets from the boutiques like my sunglasses, a cute Hawaiian shirt, and some $5 stud earrings. They had a great thrift store to browse through, which is where I scored the Hawaiian shirt for $2. Super cute somewhat cropped button down shirt with pink Hawaiian flowers on it. Can't wait to wear it out and show you guys!

Well that's all I have for you now! I'll try to snap pictures of all the product I got from Morphe so you can see how great the makeup is :)

Oh! Just a heads up for all you pinners on Pinterest! I put a link on my photos so you can pin and save them to your boards. If you're on a desktop all you have to do is hover over the picture with your mouse and the Pin symbol will pop up. If you're on a Mobile device all you have to do is click the arrow in the corner of the image and it will then let you pin the picture. Wham Bam Shazam! Inspiration for later!

The best nude lipstick to wear with any outfit! I ordered it from  Colourpop (link) and the name is Beeper. I love Colourpop ultra matte lips stains. Such a great swipe on and go and it stays on throughout the day which is always a plus ;)

It was such a nice day to wear shorts, especially with summer coming to an end. Couldn't resist taking advantage of the weather.

I got these glasses while in Burbank from this little boutique called Audrey K. The cat eye frames and pink color caught my eye as I was walking through. I fell in love! They have a neutral gray leopard print on the sides that you can't see.

I think that tying a knot on any shirt can complete and spice up any outfit. A nice white crisp tee with a knot is key to match with any print pants or shorts. You can either go with a knot or cut a slit at the bottom and tie together for more of a bow effect. I just went for a knot with this outfit.

Cats, cats and more cats! My shorts have cats! This is the best thrift store buy I have had in a while. Who can really say they have shorts with cats on them? I love all the colors and how well it all blends in together. Guess how much I paid... I bought them for a whopping $1.46! yup! a dollar and some change folks. They are H&M brand and they even have pockets, which is always a dream for girls. I bought them at this Thrift store in Baldwin Park called Disabled Veterans Charities. It's a pretty good size store but you definitely have to search to find some good pieces.

Shine bright like a diamond! Haha, these cute silver flats can definitely shine in the sun. I got these bad boys sometime last year and have only worn them a few times. The back of the shoe tears up my heel but over time I can feel them start to loosen up. Silver is such a great pop to any style whether it's basic or funky.
