From work to a baby shower, this style I put together was the perfect quick change.
To be honest I have never owned a white dress until now. White can be tough depending on the fabric and fit especially when it comes to undergarments, therefore I wore a nude bra and nude seamless panties from Victoria's Secret. I didn't have to worry about anything showing and I felt comfortable the entire day. I must say, that is always a bonus!
I love the flow and details to the dress. It's so versatile too, one day I can style it with some cowgirl boots and have a country look or wear a flower crown and have a hippie look. As far as this look I wanted it simple, but to have pops of color with turquoise and red. Then to complete it I wore a neutral heel.
Overall the dress, shoes and earrings added up to about $50. What a steal for a summer outfit!
With the event being outside I made my makeup simple and more natural since it's been so hot. (I didn't want my face to melt) So I went for my go to red lipstick from the Sephora brand lip stains with a light swipe of mascara, blush and highlighter.
It was such a beautiful past weekend for a baby shower :)

My favorite part of the dress are the sleeves! I love how the flare of the sleeves along with the ties and open slit all come together.
I wanted my earrings to pop so I went for a crown braid. It was tough taming all my curls, but it was a success ;)
